Platform Entities¶
Practical Advice
To access platform entities, please make sure that you are familiar with Data Areas and the entities they encapsulate.
Organization represents the legal entity in HortiView and is the top-level entity
Farm Location represents a collection of fields; can have separate address info, i.e. for deliveries, etc.
Field is always associated with a farm location and can contain blocks
Block represent the smallest unit of structure in a farm definition
Module Entities¶

To access module entities, please make sure that you are familiar how access to module data is organized in the platform.
Seasons are used to manage fields and blocks used for growing a particular crop, such as tomato
Block Plant Layout is a collection of fields and blocks used to grow crops in a season
